This award is given to a member of Girlguiding Midlands who has given outstanding service at a local level.
Forms for making a nomination for the 2020 Chief Commissioner's Award are available via this page on the website, your county chair of awards or your county office. They can be completed electronically (boxes will expand to accommodate text) or printed and filled in (a continuation sheet may be used, if required).
Do you know someone who has given outstanding service at a local level? Someone who has made a real impact to guiding locally?
Then please nominate them for a Chief Commissioner's Award. Just complete the application form and send it to your county chair of awards or your county office for consideration. All nominations must go through your county.
'Whilst it is possible for volunteers to nominate family members for this award, we encourage them to ensure the nomination is made by another volunteer from the unit or district/division. Where this is not possible please consult your Division or County Commissioner"
Please note that this award is not a long service award.
The form has been updated with input from the region chair of awards, county chairs of awards and approved by the region's executive committee members. All previous versions of the form are now obsolete.
